Sarah Ardill

Sarah Ardill is a proud mother of 3 and a wife to husband Ian for the past 20 years.  She has a unique perspective shaped by her journey as both a PK (pastor’s kid) and a PW (pastor’s wife), and brings authenticity and depth to conversations about faith, family, and resilience.

Sarah grew up in the glass bowl of a pastor’s home.  Many held unrealistic expectations and a perspective that her's was the ideal home.  This, along with some traumatic experiences in Sarah’s life put her faith to the test from her early years.

For the first 15 years of marriage, Sarah and husband Ian worked with Youth for Christ and then in church planting with the Campus Church in Aurora, Ontario.

Through the many seasons of ministry and life as a wife and mother, Sarah discovered that faith is not the gateway to an easy path of least resistance.  It does not lift you out of adversity.  In fact it is intertwined in the brambles and struggles of life.  Sarah refers to it as a messy faith.  It accompanies you on a journey which takes you through deep valleys, across treacherous rivers, and at times, over steep mountains.  It sometimes leaves you on your knees in silence, waiting, doubting, and asking the hard questions.  It often sits with you in the dark, when you don’t understand and when you can’t see ahead.  But faith is only relevant in the dark.  When trials come, faith is what gets you through. It’s the foundation.  It stretches you to new heights in your journey. It connects you to the indwelling life and power of Christ.  Faith is deeply rich, and has an incredible life-giving tangibility when life stops working.

Sarah is passionate about sharing her journey of walking with Christ in hopes of encouraging others.
